During a press event yesterday SeaWorld Entertainment announced a big change in corporate strategy. After years of controversy surrounding the captivity of dolphins and killer whales, the company decided to get rid of all animal life in their parks and replace shows and aquariums with new attractions.

In addition to these announcements, SeaWorld also gave the press a taste of new seafood dishes coming to the parks later this year. The new menu includes a shark fin soup, a stingray and dolphin linguine and a orca and manta seafood platter. Other dishes are a penguin stew, a manatee carpaccio and a cold turtle salad.

These unique dishes are one of a kind in the United States and can only be enjoyed for a very limited time at the SeaWorld parks. It is not yet known who will adopt the sharks, stingrays, dolphins, orcas, mantas, penguins, manatees and turtles that are currently living in the SeaWorld-parks.
